Beck - 1992 Demo

Sorry I've been gone most of this week. Lots has been happening and I've done a little digging in my archives to which I've found some interesting stuff you'll be seeing here soon enough, but before that, this has been sitting on my server for a few days waiting to be posted. An extremely detailed and informative text file is included with these files so I'm just gonna give you the quick and dirty of it.

If you've downloaded a Beck boot named Buck Fuck Iowa you have side one of this tape, which consists mostly of wonderful acoustic demos, including a cover of GG Allin's Tough Fuckin' Shit! How weird is that? On top of that, an early version of Loser closes the first side of the tape. That early version is still very similar to the released version, although it seems to be missing some of the polish and a final mix.

The second side features demos from a metal band Beck was in with members of Sexy Death Soda named, wait for it, Loser! Pretty snappy name, eh? These demos are VERY loud and mean, similar to the noisier tracks on some of his early albums. They're a little hard to listen to but still worth checking out.

All thanks to the Beck fans who have been collecting and sharing these rare releases for the rest of us. Hope you find this one as enjoyable and interesting as I do.
