I ain't into rappin' you know. The whole ghetto/gangsta shit is just ridiculous and I ain't buyin' it. It was ok like 20 years ago, now it's just stupid. Well no need to be a rocket scientist to get this type of music if you get my drift. Enough with this ghetto language here's a selection of six videos that some of you might find interesting.
First vid is for a non-talented guy with a bunch of talented friends (well Bon Iver beats them all but he's not in the clip; guess his talent will overshadow the rest). Kanye West's brand new video "Monster" is... monstrous. For the first time I think Nicki Minaj looks cute and her part is probably the best one in the clip.
Second vid is by a hip-hop duo I know nothing about. Their video is hot and steamy and I can watch it on replay 24/7 thanks to the chicka in it. The song's good but who cares when you got a naked chick dancin' around. Just FYI this clip is NSFW.
Third video is from a guy I think is overrated. Not that he's bad or anything. It's just that he ain't so fresh nor so special. Dig a little deeper and you'll find lots of kids that can rap better than him. I think he relies too much on imagery, always tryin' to be shokin'. Well his newest clip ain't shocking, kinda boring though.
Fourth video is from that Day 'N' Nite kid. Well this clip comes as a no surprise as this shit is way too common among rappers. Kid Cudi joins the big family of chronic blunt smokers such as Snoop, B Real, Jadakiss, Wiz Khalifa and LOTS more who simply show the whole world the meaning of life as they know it. Gonna pass on the song but the vid is fun.
Fifth vid is by Vast Aire. He's big like for real. Member of the legendary Cannibal Ox. Got new album and already released two singles that are dope. Every mc can learn a thing or two from him. Absolutely brilliant. Song's the proof. Check it!
Sixth and final video is from Kidz In The Hall. Two kids from Chi Town. Signed to Duck Down but were relatively unknown despite some good tunes released over the years. They got a new one. Still catchy with some fine ladies hangin' around. KITH why did you put semi-nude women in your vid? Break it down for me, will ya?
