UPDATE!!!

Tomorrow I'll be posting a Madhouse album in lossless, but today I'm exhausted and I'm not posting anything big. That said, I do have some big news if you're a Prince fan. Starting in January, I will be starting a side-project blog dedicated to Prince releases. The main focus will be "Homemade Deluxe Versions" of Prince's catalog from 1976 through 1992. The albums will be posted in lossless FLAC and V0 MP3 formats using the best available sources. These are NOT "remasters". I don't like using that word regarding fan made reissues of albums as the people doing the work, no matter how good the final product is, never had access to the original masters. That is in no way meant to be disrespectful to the fine folks who have done fan releases they labeled remasters, I'm just saying how I'm handling my own work. If possible, I'm going to use vinyl rips for the main albums as I find they sound livelier than most CD pressings of Prince albums. I will also be doing Homemade Deluxe Versions of some of the side-project albums. I'll give more information when the first releases are ready to go, but I hope people will be happy with them. My initial foray into this field will be the Christmas present which will appear in early December. I'm going to be contacting all the fine folks who offered help with seeding shortly to give them details, though if anyone else can help with seeding I'd love to hear from you. As for details regarding the present, the vinyl rip of The Black Album is part of it, but certainly not the main attraction. I'll probably share more details towards the end of next week.

Anyway, just in case anyone is wondering, I got a part time job in retail. It's a nice place and the folks there are very friendly, but my hours are very small, so I'm hoping that changes soon. I've still got applications at a few other places so hopefully something will pan out, especially since two of those jobs would be amazing! Thanks again to everyone who sent kind words and positive vibes my way, it is truly appreciated.

One last thing, and this is where I'm gonna get lame, but if anyone reading this has the new Kanye West album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and would be so kind as to let me check it out, I'd be forever in your debt! I'm dying to hear it and I could try to make it worth your while. I SWEAR I wouldn't leak it, I just want to hear it bad. PLEASE????? I'm totally serious here, would one of my fine readers be able to hook me up?
