FLINT - Device 1
Credit must be given to my pal Genzel for pointing this album out to me. This is Keith Flint, better known as the "I'm a firestarter!" guy from Prodigy, and his band. They went by the name FLINT and recorded an album called "Device 1". Unfortunately, for reasons unclear the album wasn't released, but it's most likely because the band broke up shortly before it's would-be release.
FLINT, the band, consisted of Keith Flint on vocals, Jim Davis on guitar, Kieron Pepper on live drums, Tony Howlett also on drums and Rob Holliday on bass. I'm assuming Howlett was a relative of Liam Howlett, the leader and namesake of the Prodigy, but I haven't read anything confirming this. The group released the song "Aim 4" as a single, played a few gigs including a set at the 2003 Download Festival and remixed a track for Marilyn Manson, but that's where the group's story ends. After their break-up, Keith Flint continued working with the Prodigy and started a new group named Clever Brains Fryin'. Jim Davis also started a new group named Victory Pill.
