Matador & The Wire Present: Draw Me A Riot
Sorry I haven't posted in a few days, I've been really busy and simply didn't have the time. That said, things will be returning to normal over the next few days. For this post though, the music really tells you most of what you need to know.
Draw Me A Riot was a compilation of new, rare and unreleased tracks from Matador Records recording artists that was released in conjunction with The Wire magazine in April 2001. Some of the tracks here which were unreleased at the time have since been issued on other compilations, but that doesn't affect the quality of this collection. Suffice it to say, this is a great review of the Matador lineup circa the beginning of the decade. You can view more images from the packaging here. Enjoy!
