Last night's episode of Raw

Last night's episode of Raw was the first time I really enjoyed the WWE since Lesnar quit. (Ladies, my wife, who didn't grow up watching wrestling, loved it too.)

It's one wild stunt after another in this match between Sin Cara and Evan Bourne (you can skip the first three minutes):

A history of Michael Bay

GQ has a very lengthy article about Michael Bay. Here's a bit about Bad Boys:

Klein: There's this scene where Will Smith runs down a street, and at the first test screening in Lakewood, California, women were screaming because Smith's shirt is flying open. That was it. He was a star.

Bay: We had an argument about that shot.

Smith: He was like, "Oh, take your shirt off and run with the gun!" And I was like, "Come on, man. That's just on the edge of corny." But he can take things that you'd think of as corny, and make it supergalactic iconic.

Bay: I was like, "Look at this! You look like a movie star!" And he's like, "Shit, I do!"

Smith: That was the moment for me where I learned how important single images are. That single image took me from a comedic television actor to a potential movie star. The scripts that I started to get offered changed dramatically. It was the first time that I heard women react to me with an audible gasp. There was a transformation from the cute guy next door who could make you laugh to a guy who might be able to handle himself in a bar fight and a bedroom.

And Armageddon:

Klein: Ben [Affleck] was new on the scene. We put him through the Bruckheimer-Bay machine—like, You're no longer chasing Amy. You're going to have to go to the gym, get a tan, get a haircut.

Bay: Jerry had a problem with his teeth. "He's got baby teeth. I fixed Cruise's teeth. We're going to fix his teeth." So Ben got a beautiful set of teeth out of it.

At fist I decided not to post this song here but only on the blog's facebook page. But then after countless plays I got hooked to it. Let's face it. We got this hot asian (filipina) chick that sings like a black (jamaican) reggae artist and the song's super addictive. What's not to like about it. I don't about you but I'm down with it.

Първоначално бях решил да не поствал клипа тук, а само на фейсбук страницата на блога. Но в последствие след безброй слушания, се зарибих по песничката и клипа и затова все пак реших да го постна. И как да не го направя, когато имаш една супер-сладка азиатка от филипински произход, която пее като ямайска реге певица. Просто съм запленен от мацката. А и клипа е свежарски. Просто няма как да не харесаш е песента и изпълнителката.

Jahmmi Youth & Zafayah with Root Souljah - "Black Gully Side" (official video)

Here's one surprisingly good reggae video that comes from my home country of Bulgaria. The two responsible for it are Jahmmi Youth and Zafayah of Bulgarian reggae band Root Souljah who made the video in support of Kara dere, one of the few places on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast that is still not overbuild but the appetites from the business circles grows steadily towards the place. The video is a debut as director for Alexander Poplilov aka Sen I, frontman of Root Souljah and the man behind the Bulgarian reggae label Roots Rocket. Perfect song for the summer.
