As always the mornings after Alley Sin's concerts are rough. Well what can I say? It was a fucking great night. Not that I expected something less from them. After all Alley Sin proved once more that they are THE bulgarian rock band to look for. The glam-rockers have already established themselves as a solid live act and that's no surprise to anyone who had the privilege to see them performing. Great electrifying live acts, constant contact with the audience and true rock&roll attitude are what comprise every concert of the band. Their true power if I may say so lies in the live performances and that's what they do best. Have doubts? Go see them. You won't regret. I guarantee.
Now back to the main subject. Yesterday night Alley Sin held a promotion for their first video for the single "Shut Up Bitch" at The Box. As expected that event generated lots of interest and I must say that the club was fairly full. As previous stated the band was supported by the youngsters Soundbleed.
Soundbleed are a young four-piece rock band from Asenovgrad with already one album behind it's back and numerous concerts in Plovdiv and other bulgarian cities. The band stated as their influences bands like Sixx AM and Papa Roach among others. To be honest they seemed more interested in bands such as the latter one as evident from their cover of Papa Roach's "Forever". I had the impression that they did one more Papa Roach cover but like I said it was a tough morning. They sounded good but somehow I didn't relate to their music as their teen supporters did. Maybe it's because I'm already past this kind of music or maybe it's because it belong to a different time. Still the youngsters did good but I felt that they weren't the best option for supporting Alley Sin
"There ain't no grave can hold my body down"
With these words by the Man in Black, the legendary Johnny Cash started the set of Alley Sin. The words were like true testament that despite all the troubles the band went through they're still alive and kicking and more ready than ever to make some damn good rock music. With they first accord the crowd went crazy and all those who like me weren't impressed by the opening act quickly filled the empty space in front of the stage. Believe when I say that from song one onwards it was all sing-a-longs and violent headbanging. And how can not be otherwise when Alley Sin gave everything from themselves for one truly memorable night. It was a rock&roll all night to which I'm already accustomed when going to Alley Sin shows. They performed all the crowd's favorites like "Dead Girl", "Down On The Road", "All I Want". "Bad Drag" plus the new ones "Two Chicks" and of course "Shut Up Bitch". I was double happy because the band didn't miss out Misfit's "Attitude" which they covered awesomely. Once more the band did a great concert which I'm sure was appreciated by the crowd. What is left now is for all of us to wait for the album promo which hopefully will be later this year. And in the meantime I hope they delight us with at least one more great show soon. We all know that it's necessity!
