Alley Sin w/Soundbleed

As always the mornings after Alley Sin's concerts are rough. Well what can I say? It was a fucking great night. Not that I expected something less from them. After all Alley Sin proved once more that they are THE bulgarian rock band to look for. The glam-rockers have already established themselves as a solid live act and that's no surprise to anyone who had the privilege to see them performing. Great electrifying live acts, constant contact with the audience and true rock&roll attitude are what comprise every concert of the band. Their true power if I may say so lies in the live performances and that's what they do best. Have doubts? Go see them. You won't regret. I guarantee.
Now back to the main subject. Yesterday night Alley Sin held a promotion for their first video for the single "Shut Up Bitch" at The Box. As expected that event generated lots of interest and I must say that the club was fairly full. As previous stated the band was supported by the youngsters Soundbleed.

Soundbleed are a young four-piece rock band from Asenovgrad with already one album behind it's back and numerous concerts in Plovdiv and other bulgarian cities. The band stated as their influences bands like Sixx AM and Papa Roach among others. To be honest they seemed more interested in bands such as the latter one as evident from their cover of Papa Roach's "Forever". I had the impression that they did one more Papa Roach cover but like I said it was a tough morning. They sounded good but somehow I didn't relate to their music as their teen supporters did. Maybe it's because I'm already past this kind of music or maybe it's because it belong to a different time. Still the youngsters did good but I felt that they weren't the best option for supporting Alley Sin

"There ain't no grave can hold my body down"

With these words by the Man in Black, the legendary Johnny Cash started the set of Alley Sin. The words were like true testament that despite all the troubles the band went through they're still alive and kicking and more ready than ever to make some damn good rock music. With they first accord the crowd went crazy and all those who like me weren't impressed by the opening act quickly filled the empty space in front of the stage. Believe when I say that from song one onwards it was all sing-a-longs and violent headbanging. And how can not be otherwise when Alley Sin gave everything from themselves for one truly memorable night. It was a rock&roll all night to which I'm already accustomed when going to Alley Sin shows. They performed all the crowd's favorites like "Dead Girl", "Down On The Road", "All I Want". "Bad Drag" plus the new ones "Two Chicks" and of course "Shut Up Bitch". I was double happy because the band didn't miss out Misfit's "Attitude" which they covered awesomely. Once more the band did a great concert which I'm sure was appreciated by the crowd. What is left now is for all of us to wait for the album promo which hopefully will be later this year. And in the meantime I hope they delight us with at least one more great show soon. We all know that it's necessity!

Alley Sin - "Shut Up Bitch"

Alley Sin's brand new single "Shut Up Bitch" is already out. The official premiere of the single was on the 22nd of April at club The Box. The glam-rockers definitely outdid themselves this time with this song soaked in pure rock&roll attitude. And if you think that this sounds good I assure you that live it sounds even better. As with every other Alley Sin song by the way. Don't miss out the official premiere of the video for "Shut Up Bitch" again at The Box on 15th May and you might win a copy of the video and the single on CD.

Alley Sin w/ Reckoning

22.04.11 ALLEY SIN w/ Reckoning@The Box
Friday some are in love, others attend concerts. I'm from the latter. Friday night has always been a time for drinking and having a good time and this Friday was no exception. The past one year I learned many things but above all one in particular: when there's Alley Sin there's always fun. The bulgarian glam-rockers are already well-known to the local rock community with their two EPs, one demo, an extensive tour across the country and numerous gigs throughout Sofia, and with fans coming from Sofia and beyond. The only true glam-rock band in Bulgaria (which by the way is the only one that can really support someone as big as glam-rock legends Cinderella) is a favorite among many with it's genuine R&R attitude that attracts all kinds of people from rockers to punks. During their previous concert at one time there was even a pogo in which I proudly took part. Every gig of the band is sure to bring good emotions and fun to all attendees. Knowing all that and being a fan of the band already I went that night knowing that Alley Sin will not only perform their most beloved songs but they'll present it's audience with a brand new single - "Shut Up, Bitch", the video of which will have it's separate promotion of the 15th of May. So that night I went like 30 minutes later only to find out that the sound-check was over moments ago. Noone knew exactly when the concert will start but I don't think anyone really cared. All this meant one thing: more meet, greet and drink with the band. And who doesn't want that. I'm always in for a drink with the band. So after a hour and something chatting and drinking with the band it was time to head back to club "The Box" as the concert was about the start. First for the night was the supporting act, Reckoning, a trash-metal band I've heard for the very first time. The youngsters tried to put up a decent show, some of their schoolmates were even trying to form a moshpit. But I wasn't impressed. The lack of experience was clearly evident. Not that it was that bad, it's just that they need some more practice. Good thing was that eventually they finished playing. Alley Sin were eager to jump on stage which they did with no further delay. Well it was obvious that it's gonna be a fun night when Alley Sin are playin' and that my friends was proven once more. The crowd went crazy with the very first accords and from then on it was only rock & roll and they liked it. Alley Sin did perform some new tracks, the aforementioned "Shut Up, Bitch", "Two Chicks" and a few others which will end up on their very first album who hopefully will see the light of day. The band ended their set with a cover of Misfits' "Attitude" (if I recall correctly). Overall it was a fun night as always by the way. See you again, guys.
