Today starts the fifth edition of Alarma Punk Jazz, organized by the Bulgarian National Radio. From 18th to 22nd of April in four different venues you will be able to witness performances by various by genre artists from several nationalities. As always there's no real punk at all let alone jazz. I wonder why they call it Punk-Jazz. Go figure. After all not everything involving screaming is considered punk. For me personally three things caught my attention: hip-hop artist Lushlife with it's raw talent and smooth flow; Handsome Furs which I've saw once already (they're great live) and No Age from the big SubPop family reactions to which are highly polarized. I recommend seeing at least one of them live as you never know if they'll come again.
