Lil Wayne - The Wayne, Insane, Flows Mainly Off The Brain

So a friend of mine called me to ask about the delay on Lil Wayne's new album, as it's apparently been pushed from March to April to June and now to August. I told him I found the whole thing rather bizarre, especially since the album will come out at the end of summer when it's clearly going to be a summer album. Now, my friend, knowing that I like Wayne and follow his stuff to some extent, asked me about what had leaked from the album and I told him it was probably all the same stuff he'd already heard, but his response was that he doesn't go hitting rap blogs and such looking for tracks. Instead, he'd heard some cheap mixtapes people had given him and he said it was all the same crap over and over again, so he challenged me to make a Lil Wayne mixtape for him. I thought this was funny as hell and took up the offer.

Below you'll find my Lil Wayne mixtape, The Wayne, Insane, Flows Mainly Off The Brain (yeah, I thought of that myself), with the first twelve tracks consisting of things that have leaked since December of last year and the last eight being older tracks. And yes, two of these tracks are officially available for purchase, but I figured if I was making a "bootleg rap mixtape" that it would only be proper to include them, so if you like them, BUY THEM DAMNIT! They're available on Amazon, iTunes or just about any other legal digital retailer you can think of.

I'm dreaming of the hate mail I'm gonna get for posting a Lil Wayne mixtape, even if it does consist of unreleased material and technically vibes with the rest of my site! That said, if you need a legit reason to check this out, I samples Al Green rather effectively and Help actually samples The Beatles! Also, La La La is easily one of the catchiest things Wayne has ever done and should have been released, regardless of its leaked status. Seriously, everything on here is good, but those three tracks are worth the price of admission alone!

Video - Nicki Minaj Releases New Music Video for “Did It On Em”

The music career of pop singer Nicki Minaj seems to be on an upward trajectory.

After being discovered by Lil Wayne and getting a record deal with Young Money Entertainment, she released three hit singles – “Playtime Is Over” in 2007, “Sucka Free” in 2008, and “Beam Me Up Scotty” in 2009.

Now Minaj, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj, is already planning her summer tour with the infamous Britney Spears.

Her 2010 album “Pink Friday” has already gone platinum, and was the first artist to ever have 7 songs on the Billboard 100 at the same time.

Now she has released her official music video for “Did It On Em”. And it is a bit of a mind blower.

Nicki raps about taking a s*hit on her enemies, and at one point says if she had a d*ick she would pull it out and piss on them also – all while wielding a strap-on dildo.

Interesting to say the least….

After release the video Nicki told her fans,

"Just a way of saying thank u. I love u guys. Thank u for coming out. U guys gave me LIFE on the 'I am still music' Tour. xo4Life."

Minaj has become somewhat of a controversial artist and her sexuality has been called into question by several reporters.

While not admitting to being gay or bisexual, she told “Out” Magazine,

“I do not date or have sex with women, I don’t date men either. I just embrace all people of all lifestyles and I don’t tell them they are bad people. And I say girls are beautiful and girls are sexy and they need to be told that, and if they don’t have anyone to tell them that and mean it, I’m going tell them that. But I feel like people always want to define me and I don’t want to be defined."

Minaj has won several BET Music Awards and been nominated for a “Teen Choice Award”, “MTV Music Award”, and a Grammy Award for best rap duo.

April 2011 Mixtape: Mix For Lucky

This is a break-up mix that I made for someone that doesn't know me but I felt bad about the end of their relationship. They work and live in a field that is not generally accepted by the public and because of that they may be looked at as someone that isn't deserving of love. That's wrong. While I don't know the person in question, they seem to be legitimately good natured and are deserving of love as much as anyone else. So I wanted to make them a break-up/fuck you mix, though who knows if they'll ever hear it or not. Anyway, I think people here will enjoy it, and if you REALLY wanna know the details and who this mix is for you can drop me a line and I'll tell you about it. That said, IT'S NOT ME! Still happily taken by the missus despite the fact I'm an annoyingly obsessive geek that certainly frustrates her to no end, though something tells me she might actually like that about me. Eight years together and she hasn't tried to change me yet, that has to count for something, right? And none of her attempts to take my life have been successful which either means she really loves me or she's lousy with a knife.
