Problems is a Norwegian hardcore punk band from Oslo that plays fast and angry hardcore influenced by bands such as Negative Approach, Adolescents, Void. You can hear their 2009 demo as well as the new song "Snake Oil" and grab them for free.

You've read about my love for Scandinavian music. I guess by now it already turned into obsession. Well here's another great finding of mine. From Umeå, a city in Sweden known mostly for it's hardcore bands comes these wonderful piece of music. Indie-rock band Invasionen's video for their single "Arvegods" (which means "Heritage" according to Google). The band incorporates some punk and even pop elements thought the rock core remains intact. If you're wondering why this sound so good it's because this is the latest musical endeavor of Dennis Lyxzén, previously of the local punk band Refused. Damn, these swedes are good.
Четохте за любовта ми към скандинавската музика в някои от предишните ми постове. Мисля, че вече започна да се превръща в нещо, по което се вманиачавам. Не че слушам чак толкова много скандинавска музика, но интереса ми към нея главоломно нарастна през последните няколко дена. Това доведе и до поредното ми готино откритие, идващо от шведският град Umeå, известен по-скоро с местната си хардкор сцена. Става въпрос за инди-рок бандата с елементи на пънк Invasionen и тяхното парче "Arvegods". Интересен е факта, че това е актуалния музикален проект на Dennis Lyxzén, бивш вокал на местната пънк банда, добила световна популярност, Refused. Признавам си, че нищо не разбирам от текста, но не ми пука. Важното е, че песента ме кефи супер-много. Доколкото разбирам за песента си групата се е повлияла частично от "Design For Life" на Manic Street Preachers. Между другото Jakob Arevärn, който е режисьор на клипа в момента пише книга за Refused.
Great mix by recording artist/producer Ki:Theory aka Joel Buleson. The mix pays homage to Daft Punk and Tron: Legacy featuring remixes from Tron: Legacy "Reconfigured" (M83, The Glitch Mob) along side tracks from "Reconfigured" remixers like Teddybears feat. The Flaming Lips and Robyn, plus the unreleased Ki:Theory remix of Daft Punk/Tron: Legacy's "Solar Sailor" and brand new Ki:Theory original tracks "HowVeryDare", "Wildlife" and "Kitty Hawk". As a fan of both Daft Punk and Tron I personally think that the whole idea behind this mixtape is great. Really like how the whole thing sounds. It's a damn good mix if you ask me.
Ето нещо адски добро. Страшен микс от музиканта/продуцент Ki:Theory познат още и като Joel Buleson. Миксът е своеобразен трибют към Daft Punk и филма Tron: Legacy, за чийто саундтрак френското електро дуо е изцяло отговорно. Включени са ремикси от Tron: Legacy "Reconfigured" (преработки на оригиналните парчета от филма) на M83, The Glitch Mob, Photek и Paul Oakenfold, както и тракове от Teddybears feat. The Flaming Lips и Robyn и LCD Soundsystem. Присъстват още неиздавани ремикси на Ki:Theory, както и три негови чисто нови парчета. Като фен на Daft Punk и филма Tron: Legacy харесвам цялата концепция зад този микстейп. Наистина ми харесва как са миксирани песните и ако ме питате, мисля че крайния резултат е страшно добър.

Haven't done one of these in a long time and I thought "why not?", so here is a great 12" from 1997 on the Roule label. The Virgo Edit was created by Braxe and Thomas Bangalter, a fellow many people might know better as one half of Daft Punk. The original version is good but the Virgo Edit is what you should get this for. It's amazingly pumped-up and will get people freaking out in a heartbeat! Enjoy.
