Miles Davis - The Last Word: FLAC Version

As requested, here is the lossless version of The Last Word box set. I got this from the green demon a long time ago although I believe it's still online there too.

There are some important details I want to note about this post though, most importantly this isn't a truly lossless release. The person who originally posted it said they got the first three discs from one source and the fourth elsewhere. The fourth disc looks purely lossless while the first three look compressed above the 16k line in their spectral data. That said, the compressed data goes all the way to the 22k line so it's better compression than I'm used to seeing on MP3s, especially older ones, so that fact could lend credence to the warning that appears on the inlays included with the original CDs: This is a work CD-R. Master tapes were not available at the time this CD-R was made. It was recorded from available disc sources and may not include all the material; the quality does not in any way reflect that of the final released product. Keep that in mind when listening to these, they're nice but in no way perfect.

Another important detail is that I've retagged all the files so you'll find the metadata to be very complete when compared to the green demon version.

Finally, the whole thing is split into eleven files that are connected to each other, so you must get all the pieces before you try to unzip it. If anyone has problems with any specific files please let me know and I'll re-up those individual files, though there is a recovery archive included in the .rar you can attempt to use to correct any potential problem.

Enjoy!
